The Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island and the Rotary Club of Grand Island are pleased to host events on Monday, Oct. 6, to celebrate the life, service, and adventurous spirit of Henry G. “Hank” Kammerer. Please join us:
•At 5 p.m. at the Neighbors Foundation pantry, in the basement of the Grand Island Cultural Center (former St. Stephen Old Church), a new food pantry will be dedicated in Hank’s memory.
•At 6 p.m. at the Town Commons, the Rotary Club will dedicate a bench in Hank’s honor, followed by light refreshments and fellowship at the gazebo.
Hank was a Rotary member since 1970, a Paul Harris Fellow, past club president, and also a founding member and longtime president of the Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island.
