On March 5, at approximately 8:40 a.m., the Niagara County Sheriff's Office communication center received a 911 call reporting a fire inside of a garage at 2406 Niagara Road. All residents were able to safely evacuate the garage and residence prior to patrol’s arrival. Personnel and equipment from multiple fire companies arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire.
The fire was eventually brought under control by responding fire units. The investigation into the cause of the fire is being handled by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit. There is no estimate on damages at this time.
