The Grand Island High School Class of 1976 is planning its 50th reunion for July 1-5 at various locations on Grand Island.

Planned events include:
•Wednesday, July 1: noon-3 p.m. – Float building for July 4 parade; 6 p.m. – ice breaker, Bridgeview Tavern, 971 East River Road.
•Thursday, July 2: 9:30 a.m. – Biking on West River Parkway Trail. Meet at Beaver Island parking lot; 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. – hiking, Nike Base; 10 a.m. – high school tour.
•Friday, July 3: 3-10 p.m. – bonfire, Hamburg; 6 p.m. – all GI classes party, Mallwitz’s Island Lanes, 1887 Whitehaven Road.
•Saturday, July 4: 9:30 a.m. – Gather for Grand Island parade; after parade – VFW, 2121 Grand Island Blvd.
•Sunday, July 5: 2-5 p.m.. – Launch Club reunion, 503 East River Road, hors d’oeuvres and cash bar.
