The third annual harvest tea, a fundraising event by the Lewiston Service Guild and the Friends of the Youngstown Free Library, will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Youngstown Presbyterian Church, 100 Church St. Doors will open at noon to purchase mimosas and tickets for the basket raffle and silent auction. “High tea” service will begin at 1 p.m., featuring charcuterie bites, sandwiches, scones and cakes.
Individual tickets for the tea are $45, or reserved tables of eight are $340. Tickets for the event may be purchased at the Youngstown Free Library, 240 Lockport St.; or by contacting the Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce at 716-754-9500.
The Lewiston Service Guild was established in 1938, making it one of the oldest service organizations in the community. Its fundraising efforts financially support various local charities and fund scholarships to graduating Lewiston-Porter seniors.
The Youngstown Free Library has been a cornerstone of the community since 1949, providing access to knowledge, resources and cultural enrichment.
