The City of Niagara Falls will conduct the inaugural public meeting for the public plaza and main street streetscape improvements project from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the Niagara Falls Train Station, at 825 Depot Ave. There will be a brief presentation about the project followed by an informal and interactive open house.

On March 5, at approximately 8:40 a.m., the Niagara County Sheriff's Office communication center received a 911 call reporting a fire inside of a garage at 2406 Niagara Road. All residents were able to safely evacuate the garage and residence prior to patrol's arrival. Personnel and equipment from multiple fire companies arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire.
