Montana International LLC, concessionaire for Grand Island State Park facilities, announced the Beaver Island State Park Golf Course will continue its tradition of offering free rounds of golf to active-duty service members and veterans. The program - now in its third year - has provided nearly $100,000 in complimentary golf to military players over the past two years.

The 32nd annual Nancy Price Memorial Run will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 8, starting and finishing at Griffon Brewing, 200 Lockport St., Youngstown. The scenic course takes walkers and runners through the Village of Youngstown and beautiful Fort Niagara State Park. The 1/2-mile kids fun run takes place at 6 p.m., and will feature a course through Falkner Park.
