Lewiston has had many special visitors through the years. People of fame, fortune and great talent. This week, Lewiston welcomes an incredible individual, Fishel Philip Goldig. A holocaust survivor, Fishel has endured unimaginable hardship and has lived to remind future generations that we must be vigilant in fighting hate, antisemitism and intolerance. He is here in Lewiston this weekend to share his story.

In a little more than a month, Artpark has welcomed thousands of people to four concerts in the Amphitheater, three concerts, five graduations and two dance recitals in the Mainstage Theater, celebrated Indigenous friendships with our Strawberry Moon Festival and Red Horizons fashion show, and launched our new "Wonder Wednesdays" series for young children.

Hallmark Media has released the first teaser trailer for "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story." The Hallmark "Countdown to Christmas" movie was shot in and centered on Buffalo. It is expected to debut sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas on the Hallmark Channel, and then streaming on Hallmark+.

Last Friday, for the first time in more than 20 years, the general public walked through the front doors of the historic Frontier House in Lewiston. The building's first-floor tenant, Fairbanks restaurant, hosted a soft opening for those who helped its proprietors, Daniel Hagen and Jake Strawser, craft their second restaurant. They also operate Billy Club in Buffalo.

"Transplant" ended its third season with the fate of its two main characters very much up in the air. Dr. Bashir "Bash" Hamed (Hamza Haq) was again experiencing time and memory lapses, and Dr. Magalie "Mags" Leblanc (Laurence Leboeuf) - while celebrating her dream job - was told a new heart was awaiting her at Canada's York Memorial.
