The City of Niagara Falls has a new, 1.75-mile path by Buffalo Avenue for walking, biking and jogging. The area begins at LaSalle Waterfront Park. It connects to the Niagara River Shoreline Trail, as the pathway takes users through the LaSalle neighborhood, onto a paved pathway along the LaSalle Expressway, and links with Cayuga Road to the rest of the trail.
Greater Niagara Ballet Company to bring 'Swan Lake' to UB

Gov. Kathy Hochul has signed Desha's Law (S.5539A/A.785A), a bill requiring every public school in New York to have a cardiac emergency response plan in place. The governor was joined by the bill's sponsor, New York State Sen. April Baskin. The law named after Baskin's late cousin, who tragically passed away at school.

ABC News Studios and CBC announced today "Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery," a feature-length documentary from director Ally Pankiw ("I Used to Be Funny," "Black Mirror," "The Great"), will premiere in Canada on Wednesday, Sept. 17, on CBC and CBC Gem; and on Sunday, Sept. 21, on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally (excluding Canada), following its world premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
