Loyalty, honor, and care: These three words are not often associated with golf or golf professionals, but at the Niagara Frontier Golf Club in Youngstown, Dan Antonucci and some of his staff have used the game of golf to make an impact on this nation's heroes and the City of Niagara Falls' homeless. They have been dedicated to opening this game up to all people, not just those who can afford to be at a country club.

Buffalo Waterfront announces full 'Ice at Canalside' schedule

With two weeks to go before Opening Day, Buffalo Waterfront released the full winter schedule for the Ice at Canalside, presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. This year will feature fun celebrations and programming with weekly "Festive Fridays" and "Special Event Saturdays." Favorites such as the ice bumper cars, curling, ice bikes and the ice train all return for the season, as the largest rink in New York opens for its 12th year.

Animal-related collisions are one of most common contributing factors in crashes in New York, after driver inattention/distraction, passing/lane changing/improper use, following too closely, and failure to yield right-of-way. To Albert Chao, it's a house of stories - stories of a Black architect whose work isn't celebrated enough. Chao should know. He had never heard of Robert Traynham Coles until he moved into Coles' unique home and studio on Humboldt Parkway in Buffalo's historic Hamlin Park neighborhood in 2020 after moving back from Brooklyn.
