Following an extensive seven-month search by its board of trustees, Catholic Charities of Buffalo has named Tony DeSimone as the organization's new president and CEO, effective March 2. DeSimone succeeds Deacon Steve Schumer, who retired at the end of 2025 after serving six years in the role.

Thanks to the incredible support of customers across Western New York, Tops Friendly Markets' recent partnership with Allen Family Farms proved to be a winning season both on and off the field. The campaign, which featured Allen Family Farms cantaloupes and honeydew melons in participating Tops stores, helped raise nearly $10,000 for the Patricia Allen Fund at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo.
