In response to the ongoing springtime flooding issues present within the Village of Lewiston, primarily in the northeast section, the Village of Lewiston Department of Public Works will perform a storm sewer upgrade at North Ninth and Mohawk streets, to 771 Mohawk, which is the connection to a large, concrete storm main that discharges directly to the Niagara River.

A holocaust survivor, Fishel has endured unimaginable hardship and has lived to remind future generations that we must be vigilant in fighting hate, antisemitism and intolerance. He is here in Lewiston this weekend to share his story.

On July 7, at approximately 10:15 a.m., the Niagara Falls Police Department received a 911 call reporting a death investigation at 561 Portage Road. Upon arrival at the scene, a 79-year-old female victim was found deceased in an apartment.

George Thorogood and The Destroyers brought "The Baddest Show on Earth," 50 years of in-your-face rock music, and 38 Special, to the Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater on Tuesday. Thorogood was energetic as ever as he performed hit songs and praised Lewiston as being a hidden gem.
