They recently announced Corey Orsburn will serve as executive chef at their Lewiston location. Orsburn previously worked at top eateries in his native Oklahoma (NONESUCH), New York City (Eleven Madison Park), San Francisco (Lazy Bear) and Washington, D.C. (Lutèce).

More pumpkins stolen in Lewiston

The Lewiston Beautification group informed the Tribune/Sentinel that more decorative pumpkins were stolen from their Center Street display this week. Thefts occurred either late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Volunteers are "beyond frustrated" this happened for a second time since displays were installed two weekends ago.

Lewiston firefighters respond to landfill fire incident on Pletcher Road

On Sunday, Chief Spencer Lilly of Lewiston Fire Co. No. 1 reported a landfill fire at 1445 Pletcher Road required a multi-company response. Lewiston Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to the landfill fire, where, upon arrival, a large pile of rubber tire chunks was found burning.
