Artpark's Cirque Festival will feature internationally acclaimed cirque troupe FLIP Fabrique and additional performers throughout Artpark's lower park (South Fourth Street entrance) from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17. This fun-for-all-ages festival combines multiple cirque performers and performances that Artpark fans have come to experience and love each summer in Lewiston.

The Lewiston Community Lions Club recently recognized Lion Diana and First Vice President Greg Hanson (center), who were honored with the Lion of the Year awards. The Hansons have been dedicated members of the club since 2022 and have served in various leadership roles. They've been actively involved in many club initiatives, including the annual Village of Lewiston Earth Day cleanup.

Renovations along the Lewiston waterfront took a big step toward completion last week with the addition of a grinder at the fish station, and the opening of a new steel staircase leading from the park to the boat launch.

After a number of delays, the fish-cleaning station and the upper bathrooms in Lewiston's waterfront area are finally open. The fish grinder in the building is now "industrial strength" and should ward off breakdowns in the future; the bathrooms are also very welcome following the remodel's completion. There are now two separate bathrooms in the building.
